Future Tense (working title) is a choreographic project in which I bring together questions and intuitions around “future” as a lived experience and around its connection to the way we perceive our bodies (and those of others) and the modalities of attention.
This research is developed through movement studio time—myself and with other guest performers—and through workshops with groups of people from different generations and different levels of familiarity with movement. These workshops are both part of the research and events in themselves: events in which, through simple exercises, I invite people to experiment with these questions, not as an audience, but as participants.
